Chirlane McCray, the wife of New York candidate for Mayor, Bill de Blasio,has spoken with essence magazine on falling in love with a man for the first time .McCray who is the first Black gay woman to openly share her sexuality in 1979 With an essay entitled ‘I am a Lesbian’. She ”came out” to her family at age 17. She informed the magazine that her change from being a lesbian to a heterosexual was a natural process as she fell in love with the person of her husband who she now has two children with. Asked by the magazine if she is still attracted to women. McCray replies that she was married and that de Blaiso was the only person in her life sexually but she continues that she is not dead ! Do you thing a homosexual person can turn heterosexual???
